Hi, I have just done some deletes/ and tune, now I'm experiencing some soot on my tail lift gate. (not surprised) Just wondering if any of you guys have done any exterior aero mods that take the curl swirl off the tail and keep my back looking a bit cleaner. It is not much, yet is a bit annoying. :grin2:

Adams just released their ceramic spray wax. That may do it! I haven’t tried it yet but if it’s anything like a real ceramic coating nothing will stick to it.

The ONLY way to keep stuff off the back of any vehicle, is to NOT drive it.

It is just that the static that the vehicles generate, all the road particles will just stick to the surfaces and there is just no way around it. All one can do is apply stuff to make it easier to clean it all off.

Even sitting outside cars will get dirty from the elements, the ceramic ( supposedly ) does make a big difference as it’s harder for things to stick to

That's a joke, Obviously we own these great cars to drive them. There was no soot gathering on the rear of my vehicle prior to the modifications that was of significance. Sure every driven car has some dirt collect from rear turbulence that can easily be cleaned periodically , but this is something I want to correct if there is a way. Just thought maybe someone has EXPERIENCE that would be helpful :frown2:

Interesting!!! Now who is this ADAMS?

ADAMs is probably the highest tier for car detailing products.

That’s the Ceramic spray, It definitely is expensive but if you ever looked into getting any real ceramic product is 1/10 the cost and it’s apparently super easy to put on unlike the regular ceramic.
I haven’t tried it yet as it’s like 10° outside. But hopefully in the summer.

No. I have a Rocket Chip... Jeff is the best tuner hands down... I don’t think he still does the V10tdi tunes for the general public because of the power they make. You could ask? He actually took my car out and then made adjustments several times before I left his shop.

I’m sure Malone is good also (he is helping with my V10tdi Corvette conversion) just a bit far as I am on the east coast and he is in the west coast of Canada.

I also need the Malone tune, but I have a V8. He seems like a really nice guy.
