Hose to air filter housing broken... Big deal or no?

I noticed when I replaced the air filters that the passenger side filter housing has a small plastic hose connected to it which appears to be either broken or simply not secured because the plastic 'clamp' has been broken.

It appears to connect the filter housing to what I assume is an emissions-related canister behind the passenger side front grille.

Anyone know how critical it is (or isn't) for this hose to be securely fastened? If it is important, where might I find a replacement collar for the hose where it meets the filter housing? (other than the stealer, of course.)

edit: Saw this thread at the bottom after I posted, but mine doesn't have the air suspension option, so I don't think the replies were correct in identifying it.

That is the same hose that is broken on mine. Great photo. I am curious to see the responses now that there is a pic to refer to. I do not have air suspension either. I just secured it with duct tape and then with black electrical tape.

That hose feeds filtered air to the secondary air injection pump according to Bentley. Almost broke mine until I found a Recall Campaign notice detailing how to slip the green plastic ring off and then pull back the spring-loaded connector to release it. Main thing is you want a clean air supply to the pump. Taping it on should work fine, at least until engine heat loosens the tape.
