Hello, I'm new to this forum. Anyway I have a 2004 V8 Touareg and I had a problem with a lift side Headlight Housing becoming loose. I found some great information on this forum on how to remove the housing and replace it. The problem was the screw for the headlamp bracket was very loose so I torqued it and it fixed the problem. Every thing was fine for about 3 days and now (this morning) the left bright light will not work and it look as though the fog lights are out. Has anyone had this problem after removing the housing?Great Forum!!!Thanks

Nope. I would loosen it again (maybe take it out) to see if that helps and to check the wiring. If not, I would run it by the dealership and have them check it out.

I really don't think removing the housing is the issue. Take the bulb out and check to see that it isn't burned out. If it isn't replace it and check too see if it turns on, it might have been loose from the beginning and by removing it you probably disconnected completely.

Thanks, I loosened the housing again, re-torqued the assembly and it look as thought everything is working.
