VW Touareg 2005, V8, 4.2L

I have been having all kinds of alerts and issues.
Lately, when I unlock the car, I have to wait about a minute before it will start. Starts fine after one minute. I don't get the usual unlock sound which accompanies insertion of the key into the ignition which typically will loosen the steering wheel. When I turn the key, nothing happens until about a minute. I know it is ready to start when I hear the transmission lock in the shifter area reactive and the headlights go off.
Another observation is when I come back from a drive, and I switch the ignition off and remove the key, I do not have the usual lock sound.

Any ideas?

Do you have any faults in any of the modules?
A VCDS scan will show this.
