We have an '07 V8 on struts and are in the market for some snow shoes.

Cooper makes the M+S in a 255/70r18 for a very reasonable price at tread depot. It seems to have the features we need.

Looking for a tall tire as sometimes we have to drive in 6-8 inches of snow, so the more the nose is off the ground the better.

May just buy the Cooper WSCs in 255/65r18

HotRodColt, diameter of 255/70-R18 = 275/65-R18. Here is some pictures of V8 fitted with 275/65-R18 without any modifications, but pertol T'regs do not have intercoolers infront of the front wheels.

I put on my Touareg the Kumho/Marshal Road Venture MT KL71 33X12.5R18 (305/60-R18. with modification to positions of intercoolers (intercoolers were moved forward 25-30mm) and grills between the wheels and intercoolers were replaced with similar grills from T3. These mods are sufficient to also use 275/70-R18 (already tried).
