Hey everyone. Just wanted to share and get some feed back.

I ordered 275-65-18 Wrangler MTRs and had them installed on my 04 Treg and I love it! there is some road noise but they are incredible smooth and ride very well! The most surprising part is that they only rub the inner fender in reverse at just the right angle. I couldnt believe I didnt have to trim anything!

VERY nice!

And at 32.1 inches overall diameter I think you may have just set a new record for the largest tyre in a Touareg wheel arch as I think the general opinion was that 31.5 inches is [was!] the maximum

I liked the black Range Rover Classic in the background too. I had a couple from '85 to '95. It looks like it is on a 2+ inch lift?

Don't forget your speedometer will now be out with almost a 10% under-read. Check your speedo against SATnav.

With that many Land Rovers he's a glutton for punishment!!

That looks seriously bad-ass....Absolutely LOVE those.

How is the steering? Just wondering if slow turns feel "heavy" with that much more rubber?

Thanks a lot man! Those were the tire guys exact words haha (they laughed at me at first when I told them I wanted MTRs on my Touareg)

The steering feels great didnt really seem to affect turning at all but you can feel the crown in the road sometimes depending on how steep it is. The tires I had before were really low on tread and the new tires really seem to hold the road better... feels like a completely different vehicle.

Thanks again just let me know if you have any other questions!

Will do! and thanks!

To me, THAT'S the proper look for a TReg!
Fantastique!
haha thanks! I love it. Im working on fitting an FJ Cruiser Roof rack and probably about 5 hell 500s on the roof... :-$

What have you done about a spare wheel?
Im planning on ordering another wheel to match the ones I have and have a matching tire fitted. May go on the roof rack depending on how it looks with the fj rack.. most likely I will only carry it on road trips and not just around town.

And do you have air suspension? Meant to ask that last night....
Nope its the one option i dont have... :p

The end result for the roof rack will hopefully turn out something like my old jeep...

I bought it completely stock and added a 5.5'' LA kit 33'' KM2s the fj rack and some other goodies.

The last number in 275/65/18 signifies wheels size..so they are 18's. There is no way they would fit a TDI, as the intercooler vents in the front wheel wells would definitely rub.

I'm about to try to put cooper discoverer stt pro 275/65r18 on a 2004 v10. I am using the stock 18 inch rims. The only thing I am not sure about is the spacer I will need to clear the upper ball joints on the front. Someone else ran 32 inch on this and barely got away with 15 or 18 mm spacers I think it was. I'm thinking about getting 30mm just to be sure. Any one have any thoughts? Any leads on how to calculate what size spacer is needed for clearing airsuspension upper ball joints?
