Hi Just purchased an 04 V8 with 46k miles. Never owned a VW before, but took a chance as my friends dad has one, and he never had any problems. Problem is car hesitates in 2nd and then bangs into 3d with a big lurch. Scared the crap outa my wife. Had the car only a couple a weeks now, dealer is going to fix the problem. I also have an extended warranty on the vehicle. My question; Is this a known problem with these vehicles? Is this common?
