I have 3 of these for sale as I had to buy a bunch of these to be able to import them as nobody sells them in North america. These give you 3 RCA outputs (Audio L&R and Video). I'm using this to run a backup camera and an MP3 player on my DVD NAV. It also works to play movies (or whatever other video/audio input you want). Works on all RNS2 and MFD2 VW/Audi navigation headunits.

I paid $150 each for them, which is what I'd like to get. Open to offers though as I have no use for the extras...Link to the product: :Navi-Upgrade: Multimedia Interface,Multimedia Adapter,Navigation systems,Wechslerkabel,Car Hi-Fi,KUFATEC, Dietz, Conexx, Multimedia Interface,Multimedia Adapter,Navigation systems,Wechslerkabel,Car Hi-Fi,KUFATEC, Dietz, Conexx

Not sure, I am using this unit to use a non factory backup camera. This plugs into the A/V port on the back of the nav unit...I am unsure what the factory camera plugs into.

Nick if you still have an extra one can you part with it for $100?
I have the same year as you and also added the dvd navi and would like to add a dvd. The glove Box is close enough and that might be the best place to go.
Do you have any pictures of your install?
Thanks,
Stewart

Do you have an ipod hookup also to the nav unit? If so does it dispaly song info on the display and can you control the ipod from the nav unit? I have an adaptor now but can only move up one song at a time and it appears that the playlists are contolled by the disk number. If you are using an ipod can you tell me what you are using and how you control it/
Thanks!!

I use my blackberry curve with an 8G micro SD card as my MP3 player, and I have it hooked up using a 1/8" to RCA cable. It does not display song info on the nav unit, but I don't really care as the blackberry screen displays pretty much the same as an ipod. It runs using the "AUX" function under the CD menu on the nav unit.

I don't have any photos of my install as everything is hidden...but there is a lot of room to work with and its all logical once you get it all apart and are looking at it.

Sent you a pm on the pricing negotiations.

Nick

Actually I'm all sold out...if anyone wants more there's a lead time as I have to order them from europe, usually take a couple of weeks to get here.
