I know it's a cool feature to show friends. And there's always the car scene in movies where people drive at night and have those magic lights illuminating their faces - easier to see them act. But I'm just wondering if anyone has their footwell lights set to be on while night driving. Thanks for your comments. And remember, this is a fun question-nothing serious here. Well, serious fun maybe. :D

Had 20% and switched off when drivin in really dark and wet or foggy night.
Now having problems with those in Cayenne, cant control them. Theyre allways on, 99% of time its OK though.

50%... I really like them. My wife says she can look at her sparkly shoes when we are going out. I just nod and say... thats good dear :)

In fact, after my bettery problem last week the comfort setting defaulted back to factory and the footwells were off. It felt very dark inside, I definitely missed the lighted footwells until i reset all the comfort settings.

Mine are set at 20% & I get compliments all the time from my night-time passengers...

'takes me back to the late 70's & early 80's Buicks mom drove that had them... those adjusted with the dash lights.

I haven't heard the buzzing noise yet... maybe because my radio is on full time blast!!
On another note, czech do you have pics of your Treg? I am very curious on how you were able to put the Cayenne TT tips on your V6. If you have some posted here can you please tell me where? Thanks

Gee, seeing all the folks who drive with a little bit of lighting is interesting. Maybe I'll try it this weekend. I do admit that sometimes at night I turn off the center console (having set up the music first), and turn off the steering wheel lights, and lower the dash lighting. Just so there is minimal ambient light in the cabin. But that might be due to the fact my alternate daily driver is my GTi. It only has one smallish rectangle of gauges that need lighting; even the radio has minimal lights. Very nice actually. But what the heck—maybe this weekend we'll try the 20% setting and see how it looks. Thanks for all the fun comments. And remember, no matter how much or little light we cruise with, it's always a great drive!

Uber-Tip: You can turn off the Nav screen by holding the Day/Night button for three or so seconds.

Well, I tried having the footwell lights on this evening. And it lasted ohh, maybe one-quarter mile before I had to turn them off. Just isn't my cup of tea I guess. Might be fun if I was chauffeuring someone around in the back at night. I tried. Otherwise, cest la vie.

WTK: Controls for Footwell Lights

Allright, call me the new guy (been called worse) but
can one of you folks that knows how to run your egg
share w/ me where the controls are for the footwell
lights? Away from the vehicle/manual @ this time,
been running w/ them on since delivery in Dec. Actually
thought it was a factory preset that I couldn't adjust.
TIA,
Michael
