My dealer mentioned nothing about the flashlight.... is it standard equip for all variations?? If so, I'll see if I can get a G.B. shelf for the hassle... Wish me luck!

They don't put the flashlights in the Touaregs anymore. VWOA should send one to you.
I believe its a security/theft issue - If the test-drive models had the flashlight, they'd walk out the door within a couple of demos.
I bought my TReg on 12/1... still no flashlight. In another week or so, I'll give them a call.
I've heard the approx wait time is 30-45 days from purchase.

I heard its an automatic thing. I'm giving them an extra week or two due to the holidays.

i still havn't gotten my flash light or shelf.....I am takin my Treg in on monday and will complain about not having a shelf in the G.B. I have a V8 and it should come standard.

It took about a month from the day of delivery to the day i recieved the Flashlight in the mail. And that was unsolicited.
First of all, I wanted to say(this is my first post 
), that this forum is really getting great, and that it provides a great help to T-reg owners.
Now, the problem, I´m going to receive my T-reg next week, here in Portugal. I wanted the flashlight, but, they said that it came only in the non-smoker package :? ... Is it true ? If it´s not, I´m going to ask them again when I take delivery of the car...

It's hard to say if it's supposed to be included in European models. We know that it is supposed to be in all US models. But givenwhat you guys pay for Touaregs in Europe, I'd push real hard to get the dealer to throw one in.

I just ordered my T-Reg yesterday and my salesman told me his knowledge to the missing Flashlights. He said that every worker in Jersey where the T-Reg's come in has at least one - and from the amount on eBay it looks like a lot more. VWOA found out about this and stopped shipping US bound cars with the part. He said that the company would be sending them to registered owners after delivery.

yeah.. :anger: enough to buy a fully loaded Treg V8 there in the U.S... isn´t it ?
