Hi All! I suspect I know what this is but I would like confirmation from the experts:
'07 Touareg V-8; 105K miles
Under medium to hard acceleration, there is a loud, fast banging or knocking noise that sounds like it's coming from the rear of the car.
What's the problem, and more importantly, what's the fix? Alas the car is far out of warranty....
Is the car safe to drive until I can get it fixed?
