Somehow got on with inexperienced auto mechanics to replace my pads and rotors. But I did get a good deal on TRW Pads, Brembo rotors and TRW sensors from a UK store.
I noticed they struggled when getting it in and now have the following errors popping up randomly every time I start the car.
- ESP Error (seems like a sensor issue)
- Auto Start Stop error (basically disabled - some would like this feature
)
- Park Brake error
- Bending Lights error
- Adaptive Cruise Control error (happened once)
They mentioned that it could be due hoisting the car up for this job and should clear out.
Was late in the day, so the car goes in for another check tomorrow...but I also concerned on the long term impact of the job. Note there was no cleaning of callipers or brake cleaners etc. used.
