Check engine light went on at same time 80K service was due.

The codes were as following

1. P13DA cylinder 3 combustion
2. P13D3 cylinder 5 combustion
3. P203B AdBlue issue

For the adblue hoping that is related to just being low. For the first two codes so far they have said the air filter was dirty and needs replacing, still waiting to hear if resolves issue. Has any one else had this issue.

thanks
Michael

All your cylinders have glow plugs. Cylinders 2 and 5 have the cylinder pressure sensors incorporated into the glow plugs. I have an issue with mine too but it is coming up 9522 and says it's cylinder 5 pressure sensor giving a weak signal. Too bad they didn't show you the printout of the code description as it would help determine the source of the problem.

I'm gonna get print out tomorrow. Dealer says they are contacting vw to find out what to do. Tempted to just leave alone as she is running fine. The thought of them ripping into engine and screwing something up is killing me as never had any engine issues and at 80k. Did you get yours sorted out?

I still have a warranty on mine and the wife is supposed to bring it in to the dealer to have it checked (CEL came on last week). If they try to say it's not covered, I'm going to replace the glow plug/sensor myself as it's not very difficult.

update

Went by dealer to request print out of codes. They seemed very annoyed by this- I am overstepping my bounds? Anyway the code for cylinder 3 was cleared after changing airfilter(???) and what remains is below.

P13DA ($13DA / 05082 000) SENSOR FOR INTERNAL PRESSURE OF CYLINDER 5 ELECTRICAL ERROR, TBD

After 10 days of ownership, my Treg's engine light came on and Auto Zone's tester detected a P203B code. Checking the Ad Blue (AB) tank revealed a white residue under the spare which wasn't there when I bought the vehicle. As the AB level looked fine, I suspect the BMW dealer's service department (where I bought the vehicle) didn't tighten the AB cap all the way during the maintenance inspection, or so I hope. If not a easy fix, it's off to the dealer - I'll keep you posted.

Turns out that the P203B code was a complete Ad Blue system failure, to the tune of a $2,000 repair bill. Two days out of the 5/50 warranty, fortunately my local dealership covered the repair on a goodwill basis; otherwise, I would have been substantially out of pocket. The mechanic I spoke with told me that sometimes an Ad Blue heater failure fouls the entire system (injectors, lines, etc) which is exactly what happened in my case. Lesson learned - when a P203B code appears, get it taken care of right away before it gets any worse.
