At best you will barely notice the difference even if the 22 brake gain is true.

Save your money!

I also saw the one in the link below. It claims to also increase the rev limiter/remove speed governor/reduce gas pedal lag. Not sure if either one of the two previously mentioned also do this but hp/torque aside, I'd really be interested in reducing the lag. I think these "tunes" require either for the ECU to be sent in which means no Treg in the meantime, or travel to the nearest dealer/shop that can flash the ECU in car. Personally I have no time for either one. the $$$ is not even a factor.

I work in the same complex as Unitronic, i will have my VR6 Touareg (2011) tuned in the next couple week.

If you buy the tune from them you can also buy the Uniconnect cable, which will allow you to install the tune yourself, or revert back to stock when needed.
The uniconnect also can be used as diagnostic tool.

They are real car guys, real VW/Audi/Porsche fans. They are extremely well known in the Province of Quebec, even in Eastern Canada.
They are official partners of Audi Club of Canada. They are present at every local event, active on social media and local forums.

I had multiple cars tuned by them in the past 10 years (B5 A4 1.8T, B7 A4 2.0T, B8 S4 ).

Earlier this summer they had this badass R50.

So I have a 2014 and 2016, both VR6. I’ve read starting in 2015 they switched to requiring 87 fuel instead of 91. I’ve noticed my 2016 certainly doesn’t have the pop that my 2014 does, and in general feels quite neutered. It also gets horrendous mpg, nothing close to the 17/23 (best on highway 19.5). I’d be curious if these guys know anything about that, or if their tune would help?

you can always call their tech line and see their opinions on your specific case.
as for myself i put Shell V-Power Nitro+ 91 octane with 0% ethanol in all my vehicles for the past 20 years.
i had a 400rwhp S13 with RB25 and multiple RX7 with one with aggressive porting, aftermarket turbo and standalone, all were tuned with 91 octane.
Because pure 93-94 octane is really rare over here. Only a few select Sunoco stations in Ontario have 93 octane with 0% ethanol.

i know in Canada our 87 octane might contain up to 10% ethanol which is bad for direct injection engines unless tuned for ethanol based fuel.
in Quebec, only Shell offers a ethanol free fuel. other brands will all contain a small percentage from 5-10%.
but i , personnally, would not put anything under 91 octane (95 Ron) in any European vehicles even if completely oem and n/a.

By me Ethanol free means an octane rating of only 90 without it being a Top Tier fuel. I can definitely notice a difference in the Treg when using it.
