I was about to buy an oil filter from IDParts, but the site says the filters are for CNRB engines.
I pulled one of my old VCDS scans and it says the engine type is J623-CNRA. I started doing some research and found there is also a CATA engine type.
Can someone explain if the CNRA and CNRB are essentially the same engine and a CNRB oil/fuel filter will fit both. Also what are the differences? Is it a model year change or something.
