Hello Touareg community. I have just acquired a 2013 TDi and wondering how much DEF gets used per tank of fuel. Will I be filling up the DEF tank every time I fill up the fuel tank or is it less frequent.

In the states, your dealer will fill for free if you are still under fix warranty.
The system will flag you when it needs refilling.
Usage varies according to operating conditions.... when you tow, you go through more, when you're driving in colder climates and stop and go traffic, you'll go through more, when you're cruising on freeways and such you'll go through less.

How long for DEF?

Hi all, Just a quick question... how many miles (or Km) are you getting between DEF fills? All of a sudden I am WAY over my norm of about 10K (which I thought was low...) Thanks!!
