? about the front cup holder. Can they be taken out and swapped around so the big holder is on the driver side? Or if it can come out does anyone make a cup holder with two big holders?

No you can't turn the cupholder around but you can buy and swap the deeper cupholder module from the 2007 models into the earlier cars.

I've put them on order with my office in Germany. I would guess I will have them in 2 weeks. I didn't ask about the price but it should be the same as what I sell the square cupholder for.

Cupholder replacement procedure

What is the procedure for swapping the cupholder? We have had the std. one replaced a couple of times. The little retractible nubs seems to break off or do not retract. But I agree, deeper is better.

Now that I have a good inventory of these, I decided to install one in place of my square cupholder (iPod holder). I've also relocated my iPod to just below my keyswitch (since I don't use it anyway due to keyless start). The iPod is held in place with velcro so it can be removed easily for storage in unsafe areas. Also shown in the Parrot CK3100 above the keyswitch. Some photos:
