Recently purchased an additional 20” Rim from a 2016 Treg to go with my 2014 3.0 LTR 4 Motion as a full sized spare for a planned caravanning trip (up the middle to Darwin and then down the WA coast) Van is a standard tandem van of approximately 2000 kg)
The rubber on the Rim is as described in the Title and appears to be Brand new (Batch Brand still on the tyre face).
No surprise to anyone that this range from Cooper is now discontinued, which is very bad news for anyone who had 4 or 5 and irreparably destroyed one of their set. If the tyre is of value to anyone, make me an offer to tcharlton@email.com (Note: NO .au).
I live in Ballarat in Victoria if that helps.
Now looking for 5 (Fit for 90% Road and 10% Off Road but NO serious off-roading)
Car came with 275/55/20 Goodyear Eagle SUV Asymmetrical and would appreciate any comments (good or bad) from someone who has done a similar trip previously.
Cheers

The biggest problem with your planned trip will be the availability of cute tyre sizes if you do one tyre in (in places like Halls Creek or Kununurra or Sandfire or even Coober Pedy, Marla or even Alice Springs). Outside of that it shouldn't be a problem and worst case waiting for a Tyre to come from Darwin to Turkey Creek or wherever you happen to be.

Cheers,
Andrew.

Cooper Zeon LTZ are TERRIBLE tires. No big loss.

I'm in the market for new 275/45R20 all terrains at the moment actually and it seems that most companies have stopped making this size tyre for some strange reason. It would seem that I have the choice of one at the moment and that is General Gabber At3's. No idea what they're like but I don't really have a choice but to try them out.

I know. It’s like a Desert out there for our tyres. Seems like a choice between The Cooper SRX and the Pirelli Scorpions at this time. There are others but the reviews are not great. Have been considering using 265/50/20, but still not sure about the insurance ramifications of this.
The journey continues !!!

You'll get a lot more options if you manipulate the width and height just a smidge

Hmm, went through a similar dilemma with our 2017 Treg, fitted with 20” wheels. For an upcoming outback trip, I’ve decided to go for something a bit more practical and purchased a set of Audi Q7 18” wheels, which I’ll be fitting a set of 255/60R18 tyres with a bit more sidewall height. Possibly a set of Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus
