Hi, i have touareg 3,2 2004year. This morning i start to fill baby water pool with air from the car compressor under the passenger seat. I almost filled it when the compressor stoped working. Before that i was hearing the compressor and now i dont. I checked the two fusses in the left -27 and 48 i think for suspension and under the driver seat number 13 40apms. All look good.
any idea what else could be the problem or just the compressor is gone and i need to repair or change it.

You inflated a children's paddling pool with the pump meant for emergency tyre inflation? Might be over heated. Take it apart & have a look.

Now i drive it for a while about 1-2 km and the compressor starts but only for seconds. It has air for a while and stops again. May it is over heated and need to cool down because it is 31 degrees now :(

@Capes 21:

For clarity the OP''s Touareg has air suspension so it does not have a separate 12v electric pump for inflating the spacesaver.

He has a flexible air hose that connects to the air suspension pump to inflate his tyres/spacesaver.

It sounds like the air suspension pump may need to be serviced using a rebuild kit.

Can that be the problem and the compressor not to start working ?

The owners manual explicitly states that the air line is for filling the cars tires only. You disregarded that warning and now your system is inoperable.
Sounds like the compressor overheated. Leave it for an hour and try again. If it still doesn’t work, start ordering a new unit and heed the warning thereafter.
