Only suggestion I can give, put the car on a battery charger or 12 volt supply, and reflash whne the supply is closer to 12.6 volts.

Trying to flash a tune with a low/weak battery is recipe for failure.

Talk to Tunezilla, they'll tell you the same thing.

 

I recently had the 11 year old OEM battery die in my 2013 TDI. Maybe yours is also end-of-life? Might be worth checking out.

 

I do recall then saying the fan will be running, so you should have the vehicle on a charger...
Sounds like it's stuck in a odd state though-- I might try throwing a fresh battery in the car and reset.

Essentially, turn it off and back on again in a more serious way!

Hello Touareg Community! I am upset that this is my first post on the forms, regarding my 2014 Tunezilla/Malone Stage 1 tuned TDI Treg. But just this past evening I was trying to reflash my tunezilla tune. At the beginning of the process Tunezilla immediately errored and failed to flash. After this incident my car will no longer start. The regular display, odometer, and rpm come on, but also now my glow plug, engine light, and ESC are stuck on. I only get the lights, and the car makes no attempt to turn over.

So I don't know if this was my fault or not, the engine light was on with two codes prior to me attempting to reflash. (todo with the differential pressure sensor (which was replaced to fix the fault but after a week it came back), and something else todo with the regeneration frequency failing). My DFP filter was replaced back in December under warranty which is now over.

I use an OBD eleven with the included pro subscription, giving me lots of access to the car from my iPhone. And when I did a scan there were a ton of faults due to lost communication. Attached is my logs before and after my reflash attempt.

Oh also whenever I attempt to turn on the car, the radiator fan goes wild, almost max power or smoothing?

I would love my car to be able to drive again sometime soon. But I am also worried my battery is low, because last I check it was less than 12v.
