The update worked, albeit I had to do it twice

Now this is not a scrounge but I would just like anyone with definite knowledge of what the latest map version ever produced/available for the UK

I have not had much luck but surely there must have been at least one or two updates for these CD versions?

The info would just greatly help me in my search.

PS Thanks to those who helped with the ISO file for the update. I asked my lad to PM on my behalf as I was out, and he contacted a few of you in a "belts and braces fashion"

Well from what I can find so far it would appear the CD needed is the Tele Atlas DX versions and the latest I can find is 2005/2006

This seems very surprising to me for VW to sell a Touareg that cost over £40K that had a SstNav system fitted with such a short shelf life

Quite disappointing

Please someone prove my findings wrong?

So did you install the DX 2005-6 maps that you mentioned before? Is it possible to find those on the Internet?

Not wanting to infringe any forum rules all I can say is I now have 2012/2013 UK maps working
