Trying to find more information on the V10 TDI, Our dealer finally got the first one in, but have yet to see it. I understand that in 05 they are going to a DVD based Nav system Vs. the CD based system. Does anybody know of other changes that are coming to the 05's. Any information on the V10 would be nice.

Ditto...any information on 05 model improvements and the V10 would be most appreciated. It seems that VWNA does a much better job at keeping secrets than our government. It's no way to sell cars.

Uh, when you say changes in 05', do you mean the entire Touareg line or just the TDI model?

05 Model Information

Both, actually. I'm sure that certain improvements would apply to the entire product line. I'm interested in the V10 but have heard so many negative comments about the current nav system that I would be willing to wait until it is improved. This is an expensive vehicle and I tend to keep my vehicles longer than most buyers so I'm less tolerant of flaws.

If you less tolerant of flaw, I would patiently wait for another year or two and wait for VW to shake out the bugs and fix their VERY poor customer service attitudes.

While I'm intolerant of flaws, the T-reg has already been in production for well over a year and is already in its second model year. Should already be enough time for any manufacturer to shake out bugs. What bugs in particular are you refering to that still exist? What type of dealer disatisfaction did you experience? I know that when I was shopping for a 911 Turbo over a year ago in the Denver area I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the Porsche dealers there.
