On the quest for more mud and wanting to get the most out of the bus I have suited up a set of manhattans with some Summit Mudhog 275/65x18.
I have built some spacers for the rear and am half way threw finishing the fronts.

Very impressive, i like the simple rugged look, do you offroad in that beast? It make me want to keep my T1 and convert it into a beast like that. Do you have the wheels/tyres on all the time, lovin' the roof rack and bash plate, did you make them yourself?

Alex: Cool - but now we want to know how you get the tyre off the roof! Or are you 6' 10" and built like a brick sh!t house?!!

I am only running the wheels when i head out off the beating track, the missus uses it for the family route, and i have a road setup she runs.
They rub fairly well on the fronts, am going to reshape the liners before the next session, and hopefully the extra lift in the front will aid this a little.
The tyres fairly easy to get up there, im 6ft tall, some say built like a brick **** house(well one, me) ,I just use the rear tyre as a ladder.
i have got a set of flares , but am undecided if im going to run them seems im going to have to molest the car a bit to get them to work.
All the lines are fine as most come from around the hub area.

A decent sump guard and matching towing eyes front and rear fitted with red D-shackles would set that off even more nicely.
