I have a 2006 V6, pretty standard, Touareg.
It came factory with the single CD/MP3 radio that sounded great! The bass was deep/loud and the mids and highs sounded excellent.
My problem is, I recently put in a 2006 VW RNS2 Nav system and the bass is, hard to say, but tighter? quieter? The original system I had to turn the bass down because it was so deep. When I turn the bass up in the new unit, it's very, like I said, tight. Not deep sounding at all.
Is this normal? Anyone else ever experience anything like this?
