Newbie here,

I'm looking to purchase a Treg preferably a TDI to replace my 2011 X5 diesel.

I found this one that's not too far away and I'm planning on making the trip tomorrow to check it out.

The dealer said all the custom work is top notch and looks OEM. The previous owner traded it in on an Audi S6 or S7. They told me it has a tune but other than knowing it wasn't an APR tune they didn't know what kind. They are going to try and find out for me.

Since it's been customized I figured there was a pretty good chance that the previous owner may be a member here or at least someone might recognize it and be able to tell me more about it.

Also other than the wheel wobble is there anything specific that I need to look out for other than normal used car stuff?

The previous owner shortened the front seats to accommodate his height. Might want to check it it out before taking a plunge. Those seats can be very expensive to replace.

I really think that black wheels would look great on it...I really like the white/black contrast...I am thinking of doing the same to mine...but nice Treg overall...

I'm still a little disappointed I missed out on it. I was supposed to get up there the day before but I had an unexpected change in schedule at the office which pushed my trip back a day, unfortunately that was one day too long.

Well, the good news is that yours is still out there. This wasn't a Unicorn after all. ;-)

Also, I can't stand having other people's mods as I prefer to start with a stock car. While these were done somewhat tastefully, they still looked out of place to me.

In this particular situation Josh's posting here had no effect on my purchase of the Touareg. I had favored the Touareg and Q7 based on my research and decided to spend a day looking at vehicles. I discovered this forum and thread a few days after the purchase.
