That didn't magically happen after you had the head removed and did a bunch of other random stuff. That doesn't cause a massive imbalance between banks that wasn't there before.
Thats what I would think but unless the injector shop lied to me...

After replacing the head and the injectors the injector imbalance didn't show up on the auto scan.

Thank you very much. I'll try that tomorrow and report back. It certainly feels like it is being starved for air.

I've been away from this for about a month or so waiting on injectors. Very discouraging to say the least.
Just checked it. Took the charge pipe off at the throttle valve and the valve was open. Started the car, it idled then slowly died. Checked the throttle and it was completely closed, can't force it open by hand. No throttle response during the brief idle time.

You said after doing the head was when the contribution faults showed up? It's extremely hard to follow as you've only given bits and pieces of information, and people have had to force more info out of you, and you keep adding in problems and work that's been done as we go along. You also never said that it only runs for 15 seconds initially.

Edit - just looked at your list of faults. You are surprised it runs like crap? You have dpf issues, intake flap issues, and what appear to be a number of wiring or sensor issues with the signal wire shorted to +ve. Then other things open circuit.

I never said it runs for only 15 seconds in the beginning because thats not what it did, I thought I was clear about that. That is a new condition that occurred after the DPF fault showed up. I mentioned earlier that it ran rough, white smoke, etc. Thats why the injectors were sent off to be tested. Got them back and now it runs for 15 seconds, new condition only after new injectors.

The DPF apparently clogged up due to the injectors staying open, that part was addressed in an earlier post as well. I removed it to clean it, it was bad water wouldn't even pass through. With dpf off the car will still only idle for 15 seconds.
 
So much brain damage.....
Let's start with basic crap.
How about you pick one of the flap or sensor codes that you're getting faults on with just ignition on and fix those? For the flaps, you can run output tests on them to see if they actuate or not. I'd strongly suggest that you get that glow plug pressure sensor rectified so that the ECU can have some idea of what that critical input is.
Did you reset DPF values in the ECM after whatever water cleaning method you used to clean it or whatever butchery happened there?

You have not been clear about anything. You did not say "I've fitted new injectors, now it only runs for 15 seconds", and considering how.mucb other stuff you've left out along the way, it's not unreasonable to think you left that out.

Look at all your electrical issues first off. You have so many fault codes it's not funny.

Holy **** this thing has issues. How long have you owned it for??? I wouldn't even know where to start with this. If you're not mechanically inclined (you don't appear to be) it may be cheaper to pull ten grand out and it to a Euro shop that knows how to work on TDI's to be honest.

Bruh, he in way deeper than 10k by now.... dude's had a head rebuild, with valves and shaved, he's put $2k worth of injectors in it, etc, etc, etc. He's been loading up the cannon with very expensive parts and been ignoring electrical faults and DPF issues, etc.
I'm not even clear if whatever has been done, has been done correctly, or just git-er-dun kinda done.

? I wouldn't even know where to start with this.
From the looks of it no one does, even after nearly 140 posts. Unless guessing how much of my money I'm spending and what I've done, said, or didn't say is somehow helping. I've posted an auto scan and no constructive feedback yet on that yet.

The intake flapper valve codes are due to a deleted flapper valve system. Per Darkside it will run fine without the valves but will throw the codes until the motors are deleted from the ecu. And The car was running fine after the flapper valves were deleted. So until I'm ready to do a full delete - egr, dpf, flapper vales I'll ignore those codes.


The exhaust temp code is because the dpf is out.

The dpf code is because the injectors loaded the dpf with fuel when they were dumping too much fuel after their failure.

The #2 cylinder pressure code is back, it went away after I bought a new glowplug/sensor and put it in.

When the engine idles it sounds smooth, I'm looking at the anti-shudder valve at this point. It seems to open and close intermittently. I noticed that when the engine is off the valve was closed, but not every time. I've read that the valve is supposed to be open when the engine is off and running and only close temporarily when shutting the engine off. I'm not sure its working properly. Its constantly making noises while the engine isn't running, maybe thats normal.

The fuel injectors dumped a ton of fuel into the intake and exhaust system.
For now I'll take a look at the air intake system. It seems starved for air. When it does run for less than 20 seconds it runs great, seems like a computer/sensor related issue at this point.

Yesterday a new code appeared, seems strange a new code would pop up even though its only been idled maybe three or four times.. P03A2




But yeah I agree, I'm getting to the point where a good Euro shop is in the near future. I have so little money in this car its still worth it to me.

Because they were staying open? I stand corrected if I said dumping fuel into intake, I meant excess fuel into the cylinders. There seems to be quite a bit of very thin oil (deleted with diesel) in the intake system.

Are you suggesting Darkside developments people are not correct? The flapper valves were removed long before the current issues. The car drove fine. I can hook the flapper motors back up but they aren't working correctly, which is why I was working on deleting them.

The auto scan I posted isn't complete? If so I apologize, I'll post a fresh one tomorrow.

Omfg I hate your type 🤦🤦 Why are you trickle feeding us information? I've been doing this **** a long time and something has felt off about every single reply from you. So now you tell us the car is deleted, yet somehow there are still emissions codes in the system? This doesn't make sense to me.

Dark side makes fantastic tuning but they usually need several revisions. Are you using alien gate for the handheld?

So the car is half deleted half not deleted. Has this thing ever run right since before it was deleted? Has it ever run right since after deleting?
 
I've told you what to try, you haven't done it. I said weeks ago to try running it without the cylinder pressure sensor connected. I've told you to look into the electrical issues, you havent. Now that we have some more info, unplug the anti shudder valve when it is open, and try to run the car.

Not trying to get you to go to dark side, but a $900 tune would "fix" much of what's on your list there.

This scan is after the cleaning and the dpf has not been reinstalled, the exhaust is open after the dpf at the moment.

I've noticed the battery is low now everytime I go out to deal with it.. I put a charger on it when I'm starting it or running a scan however it seems weak, the charger needs to be put on boost to start. I'm beginning to wonder myself if a new battery and a ecu reset or tune isn't all this thing needs. As I stated before, while it is briefly idling, it runs good and smooth. It simply shuts down for seemingly no reason. I'll also check to see if something happened to the immobilizer when the battery went dead not too long ago.

Thank you for the response. I think I'll give a professional tuner a call and see what they say.

BTW here is the auto scan I did last night after a few idle cycles. Notice there are only 6 codes now.
This afternoon I will ensure that there is 12v on the battery and run a scan again.
