Well hello people I am having problems when the air con is turn off there is a slight movement in the air con compressor but when the car is running this turns into a knocking sound, my question is has anyone had this problem and how did they fix it,or did they just replace it

If the air is off and the car is running a knocking noise would be the clutch bearing,if the air is on and comp running a knock would be a bad compressor,or clutch,Marty

Stew, it's the elastic coupling that picks up the drive from the gearset on the front of the engine. This coupling is supposed to last 150,000km, but mine failed at ±95,000km destroying the a/c compressor in the process. DON'T use the a/c and get it to a mech ASAP. You might be able to salvage the compressor. In fact, I hope you can, because it's not exactly cheap... 8-[
