Is there anyway that I can get my ac recirculating to default to on. Every time I gotta hit the button

There is a menu in the infotainment for auto recirculation, that’s the best you can do I’m aware of

Cause I'm in a hot climate and 100f/40c days are common so I don't want to keep pumping in hot air.

The air inside the vehicle is hotter than ambient, so if you had it on recirc. right away, you're cooling hotter air than what it would pull from outside. It's best to run the A/C on the fresh air mode first for a few minutes, and then turn on recirc. for maximum cooling. It's better for the compressor to do it that way also, because the refrigerant pressures don't go as high which puts more stress on it.

^ exactly. Fresh air for the first few minutes, then hit recirc. You can’t be that lazy to hit the button.
