Looking at some terra grapplers trying to make sure they will fit in that size, non air v6 2010 model.

Thanks for your input!

They should fit. Have the tire store test fit one of the fronts. Turn the wheel lock to lock to make sure you have no rubbing. The dots on the tires should line up with the valve stems. This puts the heavy spot in the tire with the light spot on the wheel. Sort of a pre-balance. it cuts down on the wheel weights used.

I and several others roll on 265/70/R17 BFG AT KO, Goodyear Triple-Treds and Nitto tires, both T1 and T2 models. The only concern would be Touaregs with diesel intercoolers.

I'm confused, why wouldn't the 265/65x17 work with those vents when it's been discussed about 100x that the next size up, 265/65x18 just barely work with the slightest buz against those vents on full turn?

So, of course the smaller tire would work right? It's cool that the v6 tdi has smaller brakes than the v10 tdi so you can use 17" rims now and have more tire choices or at least a little cheaper sometimes.

^ in my opinion that size is the largest that "looks" proportional. The ones I had were cool, tough, etc but obviously "over-sized" . Yours look the best.
