Not sure when they will be available but I would check out the new Q7 E-tron. It's the same 3.0 diesel, but with more power and a 110hp electric motor. It seems Audi leap-frogged the Touareg in terms of driver tech features also.

"The 3.0 TDI in the Audi Q7 e-tron produces 190 kW (258 hp). The electric motor, which is integrated into the eight-speed tiptronic, has an output of 94 kW. System output is 275 kW (373 hp); system torque is 700 N·m (516 lb-ft). The Audi Q7 e-tron accelerates with this power from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 6.0 seconds, and from 0 to 60 km/h (37.3 mph) in 6.1 seconds on electric power alone. Top speed is 225 km/h (139.8 mph)."

Hello.

I just went through the same decision process. I went with a 2014 TDI Sport with Nav. I believe the 2015 will have a significant price hike as I presume the models will get consolidated and moved upmarket. This is what happened with the Cayenne. The diesel is now the base model (no more NA V6) followed by the supercharged V-6 in the S.

Also, I got a killer deal and low APR.

Lastly, I needed the vehicle now and didn't want to wait months to get it.

It is a model refresh, not a total remake.

Look around as there are many deals out there.

Get one if you find the perfect vehicle......

Congratulations my friend and enjoy your touareg.

Hello all,

My wife and I are also looking at a 2014 TDI exec demo. They have knocked off $6000 from the MSRP, but I want more off. This vehicle has been sitting and the dealer seems eager to get it gone.
A demo, how many miles on it.

They may be keeping the price up as the 2015 are more expensive by about $2000. here in Canada. I don't know about the USA prices.

I would still negotiate more of a reduction due to it being a demo and the mileage presently on the vehicle will also make a difference in the price to pay.

6042 miles & never been registered. They let me drive it home to make sure it fits in the garage. Then offered to let me use for a Costco run.

That was one of the salesman's or sales managers car. They are only allowed to put on a certain amount mileage on then and it is now at it's max. Try going down 2000$ and let them counter offer and go from there, does it have a hitch, if so get the 7 pint connecter included, rubber floor mats and any other option you want right away in the price. Don't forget the car is NOW a year old, depreciation, less warranty left etc maybe get the extended warranty included too in the price in writing.
Other on this site can also give you more specific's to deal with dealers in the USA.

Oh by the way did I tell you they are great SUV's.

Go lower or make them give you the Fidelity Platinum warranty with $0 as part of the deal. This will take the warranty to 106k. Good luck!

This is a Canadian Vehicle what do you think they would accept for this... at 59, 985 it's too high but wonder what I should start my offer at? It's got 10k kms

2014 Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TDI EXECLINE ** R-LINE ** 0.9% d'occasion ? Vendre | St-Jerome, QC
Aren't you a vw owner already? you get $500. loyalty customer with out a trade in.

I would go 58,000 ad work up plus add in the trailer connector an the monster mats 58500.$ every thing included ac tax, tire tax, prep included, first oil change, etc plus tax.

This is a used vehicle with 10k on it. I thought brand loyalty applied only to new purchases? Not an owner yet, still looking. I like this used R-Line but not sure what it's worth or what to offer. A new execline (no r-line) is 59,575 at outaouais vw. So just trying to determine what this used one is worth.

Unhaggle

I'm a new Touareg owner - and frankly new to VW as well. I did consider waiting for the 2015 but got a good price on a brand new Execline R-line in Calgary. I was originally looking at the Highline, but the available discounts brought them close together. For the original poster, I got invoice prices from unhaggle.com and brought their working sheet to the dealer. Instead of dealing down from MSRP, I negotiated up from cost. The report is free, but if you don't want to negotiate, unhaggle will get multiple quotes for you for $99. I'm not affiliated with Unhaggle at all, but they were a good option. I leveraged CarCost Canada pricing for my last 2 purchases and found these guys even easier.

What did you pay in the end for a new execline? Can you share with us what the dealer cost is? Thanks

My cost was around $65K with all fees and taxes (freight, doc fees, tire tax, gst).

The unhaggle invoice price on an execline is $59,147 and the R-line package adds another $2227. Freight ($1746), fees and taxes are additional. Use that as your starting point. VW Canada also offers an additional $3K rebate off that price on Cash transactions. If you are financing or leasing I don't think that rebate can apply.

Call Martin at outaouais vw, he in charge there and tell him Mr. Otto said he would be able to give you a good deal / price on a touareg‎. But you must really be interested.
I think you might be able to get new one there for $58000, the one you noted in your post. Use you Loyalty customer if you have bought a VW.
As for loyalty I think they would apply to a demo too but not sure.
I sent you this by BB but I guess the site does not accept BB email replies.

Guys, in the USA, what should a 2014 TDI Exec be priced at now that they are down to the last remaining models? I went to a local dealer and they said there aren't any special close-outs.
