Thank you for your reply.
I started having DPF issues mainly because I didn’t understand how to drive this type of vehicle and the regen process etc. so after doing a ton of research. I see it was best to get a tune and remove the DPF.
i did not have factory DPF on When I purchased the tune.
I physically removed the DPF. Then installed the tune.
Everything else was Left as stock. At that time I didn’t know about EGR block off plates.
everything worked great For 8 months.
Then i noticed the car was eating more oil than previously. No leaks anywhere. It wasn’t a lot, maybe a litre over 5000km
then about 3 months ago i fired up the car to goto work and white smoke billowed out the exhaust.
no coolant in the “V”
it was leaking from the aux cooler.
so I bought everything. new MAP, MAF, oil catch can, new PCV , CAT delete downpipe, swirlflap delete kit,EGR blocking plates and I think that is it.
First I cleaned out the ASV, plastic intake manifolds, all new gaskets , and physically removed both egr coolers and did a bypass.
While I was in there , I replaced the PCV , it just vents to a catch can and then to atmosphere.
then I installed both EGR blocking plates. Plus installed a new battery.
fired up the car and everything worked perfectly With the exception of limp mode on initial start. Shut car off and turn on again and everything works as
normal.
so then , after doing research, I replaced MAF and MAP. I did teat
like unplug the MAF and go for a drive and same with the MAP. No change so I replaced them.
i will upload a copy of my log after work. Thank you for your help.
