Recently purchased a 2008 T2 V8, and I am having some issues with the door locks. the drivers door and right side rear door work fine with no issues, however the passenger door and left hand rear door require multiple tries to open after the vehicle has been centrally unlocked (they work fine after that until the vehicle is locked and then unlocked again. I have read a couple of posts about it here, and by pushing in slightly on the handle before pulling open, I do hear a click and the door opens fine, however I was wondering if there is a long term fix for this issue that doesn't require having to push in to unclick the lock on those doors? All doors open perfectly fine from the inside on the first try, so I know it does not have anything to do with the child locks. I also used silicone on the locks and adjusted the torx bolts slightly, but that did not seem to do anything.

Give the thread in the link below a read.
If you have VCDS it might help to scan for any faults and post up your results on here.

Hi Alex. I have the exact same issue with my 2009 T2. Except I have a problem with the two front doors. I think, in my case ar least, it may have to do with the doors being out of adjustment after a window regulator replacement. This repair can even throw the whole door out of alignment if not addressed. If you do find a solution please let me know. I do have VCDS and it's not something that is reported by any controller on the car.
