My 2007 Touareg seems to be fully loaded with every option availab,e however I don't seem to have TPMS...was it not in this year, or do you think someone disabled it? Any way to tell?

Reason I ask is I'm getting new rubber installed this week (A/T Toyo's) and I would like to have them replace the valve stems if they aren't special TPMS stems

If you have "traditional" rubber valve stems, then you do not have TPMS. My 2007 v10 did not come with TPMS thankfully.

If you have metal valve stems but no TPMS, likely that someone shut them off.

If they are rubber valve stems...then there is no TPMS. So either someone took them off in the past, or it never had them.

That is my understanding from looking through here.

My 05 V8 has about every option except rear heated seats and steering wheel, and I don't have TPMS either. Which is fine with me, one less bother.

Cool, yes rubber stems here... oddly I have every other option (no heated stearing wheel but yes rear heated seats tho?

Same as on mine..... the heated wheel was not part of the winter package for 2007 in NA.

aha...ok well I'm not complaining about the TPMS...although my rear tyre was at 19psi the other day...I'm use to the tires chirping when tearing around town, but I guess this time I actually had a flat

I like the TPMS system. I had to go aftermarket to add it to my 07. I wouldn't be without it. It's a great safety feature.
