So putting this up as a feeler (i.e. if there is interest shown I'll entertain questions and offers but will need a couple weeks to sell...).

I recently bought this Touareg with 35k when I picked it up and I LOVE it. I bought it as a replacement vehicle to do everything I need it to do but have decided to buy a house and my fiance already has a large SUV so this one is possibly up for sale.

I am the second owner and have the title free and clear. Originally from Texas (Dallas) with a clear history and maintenance as reported on the Carfax. Everything is SUPER clean and was female driven.

General/Options:
- Year: 2005
- Black/Anthracite/Wood
- VIN: WVGMM77LX5D080739
- Mileage: 44,4XX (will go up as it is an occasional DD)
- VIN: (at work, do not have now but will provide when I get home this evening)
- Equipment Package # 5 w/keyless
- 4-Corner Air suspension
- REAR locking differential
- Navigation with upgraded Audio (Nav discs included)
- 4-Zone climate control
- Silver roof rack (Keys included!)
- Parking Sensors
- Rear sun shades
- Moonroof
- Tow hitch*
- 19" wheels
- Front AND Rear Heated Seats
- Heated steering wheel (winter package)
- TPMS
- Keyless entry
- If it is an option and isn't stupidly exotic...this Touareg probably has it

Body: Being black it shows more than other cars. Waxed every 3 months since I've owned it with Mother's Carnuba wax. Headlights don't have a cloudy/pitted surface like many others are roughly a 8.5/10. All panels align well and paint shows consistent depth with a paint meter. Only a few scratches that you need to be close to see. One roughly 4" long scuff where the flat part of the wheel well curves to the fender on passenger front fender. It can easily be covered up by fender flares but I may just have it touched up as it is minor. Wheels are "10 footers" but look good when clean. There are a couple marks on the lower "plastic" part of the front and rear bumper covers but no deep gouges, holes, dents, etc. Think "honey I backed into the trash can by accident" type of marks. There are 4 small holes in the front bumper where a front plate was affixed; being black not totally noticeable.

Interior: VERY clean. No rips, tears, stains, etc. Carpets are in excellent shape and the truck smells great (non-smoker). There is peeling on the fan control buttons and a few radio buttons (common but there is a good potential fix out there. Search the boards). Also some light peeling/knicks on the cups for the door pulls and random sift touch buttons on the center stack (again common but not as noticeable). Heating, cooling, front and rear heated seats, 4-zone work great! The car comes with a Gorilla mat in the rear and monster mats throughout (original carpets included).

Drive: It drives GREAT! I'm constantly surprised how nimble this vehicle is. Very comfortable but then in sport very "flat" for an SUV of its size. Acceleration is good and it sound good too (less the "flapper" sound under WOT). The car tracks straight (even tire wear across surface) and brakes straight.

Mechanical: Excellent! I have not changed the water pump and belts yet but had the car looked over and all was deemed in good order (belt looks pretty fresh). Honestly I'd probably do that this summer just because I'm very high on preventative maintenance but don't feel it is necessary. Oil changes have been regular and all other fluids look great. Recently has had new brakes, brake fluid and oil change (it was clean when I replaced it. Again preventative). No vibrations, odd noises, etc. NO warning lights of any kind and I've never had any pop up. Tires are roughly 50% and at Contis on the front and Michelins on the rear, no punctures, repairs, etc. Recently road force balanced and very smooth. Front wipers new too with factory replacement units.

Issues: NONE.

Updates/Modifications:
- Factory matched Tint (Llumar AT35)
- Monster Mats
- Rear Gorilla mat
- K&N Panel filters
- Factory Tow hitch (NOTE: Wiring harness IS installed but Tow module has NOT been installed. I got a great deal on the hitch and wire harness and was going to source the module separately I just haven't had time. The ONLY thing that has been "in" the hitch was a Thule Combi so this truck has NEVER towed anything).
- Aux jack in center console

Price: I'd like to get $16,900 for it considering that is has pretty much every option and has VERY low miles (lowest I've seen for the year).

If you have any questions please let me know! I don't need to sell it but again entertaining the idea of selling it if the price is right. This is a GREAT Touareg and perfect low mileage example.

*Pictures are when I first bought it and DO NOT include the window tint or installed hitch. I will work on getting updated pics ASAP!

Yep this is basically the same thing. In the one you're referencing I couldn't change things like the title (says FEELER), couldn't update with the VIN (was missing) or change the price. As that one was a little older I simply wanted to start an "official" FS thread to make sure it was clearer. Mods please feel free to contact me if there are any issues!

Thanks!

FYI some new pics from TODAY. If anyone wants anything specifically please let me know!

How many miles have you put on it since you bought it, and are you the second or 3rd owner?

I'd also pull those K&N filters, anyone that knows about car motors and filters also knows that K&N makes very porous, non filtering filters that pass a lot of dirt into the motor.

Talk to a German VW engineer about them some time, or look at what's on a Veyron, Bugatti, or Phaeton motor, or farm equipment like John Deere... always paper element, non oiled. There's a very good reason for it.

Gorgeous car, GLWS!

Second owner. I bought it with roughly 35k last November. I'm only selling because the fiance already has a large SUV and we don't need two. I can now sell this, keep my '89 E30 BMW as my DD and get a nice weekend car :D

One thing to note is that I DO NOT have the title in hand. Money was too cheap to borrow so I took a ridiculously low rate loan against this and invested. I can have the titled turned around very quick by my credit union (I've done the exact same thing with my E90 M3 and Cayenne)

Option Package 5 on a V8 of that year = exact same options as came on a V10 TDI, with the exception of the second battery and the Atheos 19" wheels.

Nonetheless, this T has the Atheos, so this is as close as anyone is going to get to a maxed-out T of that era.
