I'm going to pull the stock Navigation unit out of my 04' Treg in the near future. It's still installed and works great. There is a small amount of wear on the map button but other than that, it's in great shape.

I think it's worth around $750 with the full CD set based off of what I've seen on eBay. At this point I'll sell it for $700.

Let me know if you're interested.

Since I can't seem to figure out how to edit my original thread, I'm replying to myself :).

Pics of the unit, still installed.

EDIT - for some reason the image hosting website won't display the rest of the pics. I'll try to get them up as soon as the site isn't going haywire.

I believe that I have a buyer, just as an FYI.

I don't know what you are referring to in regards to the code. This unit was factory installed if that helps.

I'm going to install a Kenwood DVD/NAV setup so I can play DVD's and stream them to the back so my son can watch while driving. Plus I like all the gadgets that the Kenwood units offer.

Well , all VW radios/navigations have a code card as much as I know, so when you install a nav system from other VW you have to insert code in order for the item to work properly...
Oh, I didn't know that. I can't help you there....sorry.

Since there is no Edit, I must respond to myself again.

Navigation and Factory CD Changer are still for sale.

There should be a card in the owners manual folder, I think it is called a radio card, and it has the code on it. Without the code, the unit is useless. You also need the code if you change the battery I believe.

are you selling the satellite antenna in the front fender too?
If I don't need the antenna for the aftermarket unit I'm going to install, then yes, I can sell it too.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into the code to see if it's in the owners manual area.

I just checked the owners manual. The radio card IS there. So, I have the card to go with the head unit so it will work in another Treg.

Thanks,
Matt

No, I have not sold it yet. Feel free to throw me an offer.

Do you still have the CD changer as well? If so, how much for that?

So, you have the Nav, Code Card, and GPS (fender) antenna available?

I do have the CD Changer but I've never used it so I can't say if it works at this exact moment, although I imagine that it does.
