Can this rim take the weight of my r5 2.5 tdi

I found a rim that will look really nice on my r5 2.5 tdi. However the rep from tire rack is saying that I cannot simply take a rim with the same bolt pattern and within the offset tolerance as the vehicle, weight plays an important factor. I am not exactly sure what he is talking about. Can somebody look at the rim in question for me and let me know if this rim would be able to work. The website is:
