Anyone have the "bonrath" style badgeless grill he

Ok...I've seen the 3 bar badgeless grills on ebay of Germany and was wondering if anyone has picked up one here in the states. I love the look of the 3 bar grills vs the mesh look. I think they look alot cleaner than the mesh..

has anyone had any luck?

Its a matter of taste...I never have liked the mesh grills especially if you dont have the lower grills to match, and that makes it look plain tacky. I do agree, it would look better in chrome trim (which I had on my B5.5 Passat) though...

I'm gonna ask some of my passat friends that do group buys to see if they can get me the grill. the price on ebay aint bad at $100 USD...but shipping can be the ass kicker!

Let us know what happens, too bad the seller just ships to Germany. I've asked TmTuning if there was any Bonrath or Mattig available and they said there wasn't. So hopefully this is a possibility

..funny how us ex-passat owners want this grill! everyone else wants the mesh ones! Kinda reminds me of back in the day when us old B5 owners had the Mesh kamei style grills cuz that was the only thing avail. YUCK! I cringe when I see those on Passats now days...really outdated! hahaha!!!
I'll do some homework and get this damn thing rolling'! I want MORE options for tuning and styling these damn trucks!

ok....just emailed the seller to get more information and possibly if he can give a discount on multiple orders. If I get a response, I'll post up the info!

Not yet, I've been lazy to do anything to the Treg ;) Thanks so much for the information though!

And yes I hated the Kamei's on the b5's. you see the UGLY support bars behind it....Bonrath all the way!
