No Adblue in Australian Spec... at least not in MY11 and 12 models. I haven't heard about it being fitted in the MY13.

It's coming...really, you can expect it soon at a dealer near you! I'm not kidding BTW.

As John has said from the drivers seat and has to be turned off each time you start ive had a tech look at vagcom a couple of times but he can`t find it yet he says he will have another look when time allows

Got another question. I've noticed the dimensions of the car are different to the rest of the world. The OZ spec car is about 10 cm longer and 2.5 cm wider than the ones for the rest of the world according to the brochure. and yes, i compared the same generation (T3). Is it possible that there are actually 2 different bodies for the Touareg for different market? I know there are two different bodies for the Passat but not sure about Touareg. I can't find another market with Touareg that matches the size of the one we've got though. :confused2:

Aust specs - Length 4898mm, Width 1965mm.
Offical VW specs - Length 4795mm, Width 1940mm.

Yes you have a point there, some one in marketing is a little bit liberal with the figures.

The Australian model is no different to any other model so I would be looking at a reliable source for information, not VW Australia.

2013 Pricing

Has anyone actually got the official pricing for 2013 models including options?

My dealer just keeps saying they have not got anything from VW as yet.

Mine is due next month and I still don't have the new pricing

Thanks for the reply. Got another question for you. Can you turn off the stop-start function?

I have done this with the VAG COM. I played around with it, switched some settings around and mananged to disable the stop start "feature".

HOWEVER - it managed to return to working normally after a couple of hundred K's. BY IT's SELF.

I'm not sure how or why, but it seems to have a self heal / fix in the program somewhere. (I am no programmer) I will try soon with the updated version of the VAG COM, apparenty the new version has better / more accurate descriptions for the T3.

I will report once I have tried. :)
