I bought an '04 Touareg w/air and am missing some parts for the spare tire. I'm looking for the associated air hose used to inflate the space saver tire. Does anyone have a part number? Also, I'm not sure exactly what else I'm missing. It appears I have all of the wrenches and holders. Pictures of a complete kit would help very much.

What you are looking for will depend on whether you have Air Suspension or not. Try the search option as this subject has been discuss on a number of occasions.

Stuart..

Have you looked under seats because I think that's where the air line is kept?

If not, find somewhere that services garage air lines and get one make up.

You should have two folding steel wheel chocks, a jack, a funny little wire hook thingummy for pulling off the plastic caps that cover your wheel lugs/bolts, if you have halogen headlights, then you should have a hexagon device abot 6 inches long with a fold out handle for undoing your headlight units and, of course, the wheel brace with the essential locking wheel nut "key".

I do have air. I know the hose is supposed to be underneath the rear passenger seat on the driver's side but it's missing.

Oh and look on the space saver to make sure it has the valve cap which has the little thingummy for being able to remove the valve stem [take care it doesn't fly out and you lose it] from the valve when you need to let the air out of the inflated spare to put it back in the trunk/boot.

Also do NOT exceed 50mph/80kph if you use the space saver or you may damage your transmission.

And keep your kids and your fingers away when you collapse the spare tyre - it can bite!!

Looks like I have all of the parts except for the hose that supposed to be underneath the rear passenger seat behind the driver. Looking for anyone who is selling or a has the part number. Also, anyone who can maybe scan and send this section of the owner's manual would be great; I don't have one.

I've checked everything I can open up. The left trunk compartment was empty. Canvasing eBay for a legit owner's manual now.

And the right trunk compartment?

And have you looked under the spare wheel?

I can't see the squiggly wire thingummy in your pix for pulling the plastic covers off your wheels bolts/lugs?

lol...maybe if you show me a pic of your "thingummy", I can confirm if I have it or not. Thank you 'volkswagendude' for the link.

My thingummy is about 3-4 inches long, is made of bent wire with a finger hole at one end and a hook on the other end that you insert in the hole in the chrome plastic wheel lug cap to tug it off to reveal the steel lug!!

It is hard to tell even with the pic enlarged that you took, but if you have it, it resides under the screw in tow eye that is the kit. It is used to remove the covers over the lug bolts and that is the only purpose it serves. If you don't have it I would just go get a pick set and use one of those as your cover removal tool. You can get those pretty cheap. I could only imagine what the dealer would charge for that tool.

So didn't locate an available hose but fell into some luck and found a compressor for an '04 non-air Treg and a complete owner's manual. I am however, missing the tool to remove the wheel covers but the stem valve on the spare does have the cap as described. Finding the owner's manual came a few days late after I had just bought one on eBay. Well, I'm gonna have an '04 owner's manual available now if anyone is interested.

Any stout piece of wire that will go through the hole in the top of the lug covers and bent into a hook on the end will do as a lug cover puller Thingummy.

Ok, did a Google/eBay search and found Porsche had a similar kit and saw the piece I'm missing. Thanks bro.

Did some more searching in and around the spare tire compartment and found the tool. What I assume to be the finger loop had nearly been straightened out so I didn't recognize it at first glance...fixed that with my Leatherman. Turns out I don't need the tool (smh) since I have the 19" alloy wheels with exposed lugs.
