Welcome along. I'd keep an eye our on dondeal.ie or adverts.ie for some. They seem to pop up regularly. It also depends on whether you have a 2.5 or a 3.0 engine as to the pcd on the alloys (2.5 has a pcd of 5x120 and a 3.0 has a pcd of 5x130)

Newbie from Cork here. Anyone know an excellent mechanic in Cork area. Have a problem with cold starting and handbrake
I may have same hand brake problem!! If your indicator light remains on when brake is released...with your left instep, tap brake pedal upwards.
It works for me,
Slan.

The dreaded carrier bearing failure has finally happened, cruising along then the clunk and a wicked wobble abouve 30. Felt like one of the wheels had come loose, was minutes away from a garrage with ramps so pulled in and went straight to the carrier bearing, totally wasted.
Have done some quick research, a place in Dublin called driveshafts.ie do an exchange for a refurbd shaft and carrier bearing, and the local garrage might be able to manage the swap.
Does anyone know the part number for the flexible coupling?
Or does anyone know a good 4x4 specialist in the kildare dublin area.
VW are obviously quoting the fantasy money they are known for.
Mine is an 06 2.5tdi with over 100k on it.

Just get the refurbed shaft.
