Picking up on Friday. Test drove it yesterday and I was a bit disappointed on the line take-off but that because I am used to fast cars not trucks. Should be interesting in the next couple of days as I get acquainted to all the gizmos and knock on wood, headaches.

Its just too slow for my liking. I just feel like its not quick enough. On the highway @ 100km, it feels like I am doing 60km/hr. It could all be the fact that I am expecting something better.

I hear ya! Listen to this one. I have owned and driven many fast cars in my time, but get this! I received my first speeding ticket in like over a decade, and this happened in the Touareg the first couple of weeks after I bought it! Why? Exactly what you wrote. You are indeed traveling faster than it appears
