Woodland Park, Colorado

2013 Touareg TDI LUX

Tuned and deleted, comes with stock tune and exhaust. Obviously will not pass emissions as it sits, but do have the full exhaust and tune to return it to stock form. Also have a stage 2 tune w/emissions.

Paint is shot, previous owner left a wrap on for 7 years. Car currently is plasti-dipped and looks fine from 20ft. People actually like the way it looks... but it's ugly up close.

  • 300hp, 500tq Tunezilla tune.
  • Full 3" Rawtek exhaust (no longer available in the USA).
  • 3" Eurowise lift. Sits on 33" tires w/ decent tread.
  • 18" Cayenne rims
  • x2 new intercoolers
  • 3.7 ratio gears (front rebuilt at time of engine replacement, see below). This was to accommodate the 33" tires. Car hauls great, fast, pulls hard.
  • 2 micron fuel filter post factory filter
  • Many other upgrades/downgrades if you like it stock!
  • Engine replaced in 2022 after HPFP failure with super low mile Q7 CNRB engine including turbo. Now only has 51k miles on it. This was the lowest mile engine I could find and is very clean, no leaks. Cost me north of $6k to purchase, and is likely one of the lowest mile CNRB engines on the road. Since replacement car has about 20k miles on it and runs great, zero problems, starts in cold just fine.
  • Religious Amsoil oil changes. I don't mess around with maintenance.
  • All fluids replaced at time of engine swap. Including brake fluid and transmission!
  • Tow package w/controller.
  • T1 rear springs.
New CP4 HPFP and Darkside metering valve installed at time of replacement. These are buried deep under the intake and were replaced when the motor was out. New intank pump. Tank cleaned and all fuel lines replaced.

I am very cautious after my HPFP failure. The 2 micron filter is awesome and will separate water as well. I run Hotshot Secret at every fill up to keep things lubed.

Known issues:
  • Steering wheel heat no longer works.
  • Phone BT doesn't work, I have an aftermarket module hooked up for BT.

$11,000 OBO. If you are looking for one like this, here it is. Please ask any questions, I can talk at length about this car. Needing a third row so this has to go. It's been a good ride for us.

Can help arrange shipping.

Best of luck with the sale!
Thanks! I'll stick around here of course. And will still do the diff rebuilds. Just need a bigger family car now that the second kiddo is on the way. It's been a beast of a ride, one of my all time favorite pictures of her from this summer.

I find that some that get rid of their Tregs do still visit the forums.
Having someone that can provide quality rebuilt diifs is important as it'll help others keep their Tregs on the road a while longer.

wont pass inspection as-is, but does it have a currently valid inspection in Colorado? My best friend in CO is looking at TDIs. His budget is 20K but I am sure he wouldn’t mind saving some money and this is imo a great buy.

With those 3.7 gears, does that mean the engine spins faster or slower? I just don’t know the factory number. I’m assuming this makes it spin faster.

Disregard, the old googinator took care of me here.

Friend in CO Springs chiming in. I'm very interested if we could set a date sometime in the near future to link up. I'm currently trying to provide some activity on these forums so I can message you directly.

It's just like getting taller gears for rock crawling or off road use when you get bigger tires. RPM's are the same, car behaves like it's on stock size tires. Still getting about 25-26mpg on the highway depending on speed.

It won't pass emissions in a emission county. I believe El Paso county (Colorado Springs) only requires emissions on a diesel vehicle...sadly. But I do have everything to take it back (elbow grease) and it was passing in Denver when I bought the car. No other inspections are required in Colorado besides emissions.

He has 33" tires installed, which murdered his gear ratio. The 3.7:1 likely (not sitting here doing the math..) corrected it to factory rpm and gearing.
