Immobilizer Help!!!

Hello, my father recently purchased a 2009 treg v6tdi from auction, curtain airbags went off put car in in great shape, the car came with no key.
We got a key engraved from dealer no fob buttons programmed tho, looked on tunezilla for an immo delete, took the ECU to TooQuicks , a vag specific mechanic and got the immobilizer delete. After the delete, I put the key in ignition and try to start but no lights come on the dash and the car doesn't even crank. but the "immobilizer active" icon displays in the MFD. any help because we are stuck and tons of money into this car😬

After you wipe the immobilizer from the ecu, occasionally the light turns on with zero drivable type issues and a code clear will shut it off for a long while. This doesn't sound like that... sound like a key code issue was performed wrong, that said. Good luck.

Hello and welcome to the forums.
I have to ask, just because no one else has yet.
Why didn't you just get the key cut and the FOB programmed for the vehicle?
You're probably too far down the rabbit hole now but I just have to ask.

We could only get the keys cut through dealer, but we cannot get the car on the trailer because the wheels are turned. All we need to do is get that steering wheel to unlock so we can get it on the trailer. Any help?

Disconnect the column from the rack, then turn the wheels. You've gone about this a messed up way. Buying an 09 with no key and curtain airbags deployed doesn't even make sense if you got it for $1, unless you were going to wreck it out.

Powers up and won't unlock the wheel? That's odd.. I gotta read back a bit..
Those furniture movers or harbor freight wheel movers under the front.might do it depending on the ramps. As the wheels are tiny.

UPDATE!! We were able to turn the car over and get it moving. All we did was jump the cluster fuse to power and go under the hood and press the relay to start the engine. To shift it into gear, you have to touch the relay under the seat. We got the steering column lock off and we think that is the problem. We are now able to steer the car with power steering, just the key still does not work with the ignition. Nothing in the interior works while the car is on as of Windows, hvac, steering wheel functions. I mean I got mine from a guy living out of a van down by the river for under 3k.. some deals are hard to pass up and the fun is to learn how to fix them and enjoy the rewards. ;)
