Hello, i just purchased a 2005 touareg and i am having a problems with no sound from the front speakers (except the center channel) dealer says it may be the amplifieor radio? Can any one tell me where the loaction on the amplifier?

You need to remove the right hand side rear liner, top window trim etc. to give you enough room to remove the amp. Easy since you don't have the changer in there as well.

If I have the stock amplifier could I replace it with a more powerful amplifier just by removing the stock amp above the CD changer? Or would I not only have to remove it but rewire all the way to the head unit?

I have a 1000watt Boss amplifier sitting in storage until I can figure out the DIY details. I also have a 10" woofer I plan on connecting to the amp.

Any help would be well appreciated!

I also only have the am/fm in dash cd player and my front channels went out except for the speaker on the dash .... My question is whats my best option to replace it ? best buy wants upwards of 1500 to get all 11 speakers working again by replacing them all and running an amp to them does this sound right ?

What is the best way to replace the Amp? I have the CD changer and my Amp blew out. I have a new VW amp and need to install it. Is there a guide on how to remove the window trim, etc to access it? Or I read it MAY be possible to remove the CD player and its bracket to access it even easier. Has anyone ever done this? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

If you have a a wiring diagram, you need to find the input wires and see if they’re high level input or low level. If high level, then purchase a high level to low level converter
