Dave, sorry to hear. All the more reason to organise another GTG in the near future. Hope they can sort out the problem soon -keep us posted. Cheers Werner

Thanks Werner.
I am so pissed about this you have no idea.
And to make it worse VW admit they are struggling to fix my car but can only satisfy me by supplying me wih a bloody Lancer from a hire co .......... it sucks.
(Why by a 90K VW? )

Dave, sorry to say, but you missed a great trip out! Hopefully you can make the next one which Brent is already organising(!!!???);) I am sure you will be able to relate, once our "official" photographer posts some pics. Brent, thanks again for your effort - it was a great outing (and a much needed one for me to get away (as you will understand). Fantastic to get to know such lovely people. And yes, Colin, we did end up with a "fold-up" tent and mattress to match at the show! Will PM all of you during the week. Thanks again, Werner + D

I have to concur. Even though I could only be there for the Saturday I had a really great time. Great bunch of people. I got some decent pics and videos aswell. I'll put these up when I work out how to! Can't wait for the next one. My wife will definitely be coming along to that one. Thanks again

Thanks guys.............been thinking about you all and great to hear the event was a success. But yeah, I'm not getting used to this "tin can" as the kids call it..... Lancer.

As suggested by Werner i am working on the next trip. Do have some concerns though about it after see the V10'S in action. We may need to restrict the next trip to V10's only.

Hi all, I have put some pics up from the Dwellingup day and a bit out. I have a few more to put up - later on this week. Anyway to find them, goto the gallery page and find me, ' spud ' . Any problems, give me a yell.

first Treg GTG

To those who made the trip, thanks. It was well worth the effort and we will be sure to make the next one.
We took a left turn on SW highway and arrived in Harvey to find they were enjoying their annual Harvest Festival. Well worth a visit and what a friendly bunch of locals.
Although we spent money on preserves and fresh fruit, it sounds as though Werner was seperated from much more of his well earned cash.

Thanks again for your good company, hope to catch up again soon.

Regards,

Colin

Hi all will get my photos to you soon. It has been a bad week at work and home with water getting in at work and the back fence ending up in the pool.Love the photos Spud
Cheers Brent

Next trip for V10,s only Rottenest so you can use your paddles:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

We were pretty lucky with our house with the storm - apart from getting some styling changes made to the Treg - damn hail!

I'm biting my tongue Brent.... I don't have paddles !

Brent, I have to agree with Spud - only means of "paddles" at present is to row with paddles through the windows! But, do I get the impression that a V6 might be changed for a V10 down the track?:clapclap:. Looking forward to the next trip without granite pieces pushing through our makeshift matress into parts of the anatomy that weren't designed for such "soli"d"tude"! Spud, keep us posted on the hail damage to your V10 and the service from your insurance - we might all learn from your experience.

Yeah - I'll keep you informed. At the moment I have 'lodged a claim' over the phone. Now I wait for an assessor to contact me.

Well...............it's three weeks now and I am no closer to driving my Reg...........
I will visit the dealer in the morning, and keep you posted.

Hey Scottimac. A few of us went down to Dwellingup and had a great time on the trails down there. No deep sand stuff this time. We will be having another trip out later this year so keep an eye out.

That must be soooo frustrating. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually knew what the problem was and was in the process of fixing it. You must be getting withdrawal symptoms. The least they could do would be to offer you a decent loan car.

Dave, that is not good news at all!!! Please let us know what's going on!

how about some pics of the gtg guys
