1) lower the suspension
2) lock it (center button on console between dials)
3) jack to lift wheel
:)
You don't even have to lower it, just put it in Jack Mode so it does not try to level on you as you jack it up. It is the Lock button on the console and you hold it for about 5 seconds and you should get a message in the MFI telling you it is in that mode. Then when done you can either turn it off by holding the button again or just start driving it and it will turn off automatically.

You do not need to remove either tires or place a jack under the vehicle.

1) Make sure the wheels are turned all the way right or left depending on which side you're doing

2) Use an angle drill for the hole on each side

3) Make sure you clean the area where the extension goes to ensure proper adherence

mudflaps

you really dont have to remove rear wheels to put on clips , just put them in place and tap them with a hammer and bog flat head screwdriver, its really simple:chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw:

Thanks guys for all the advise.
I got the flaps on tonight after work.
The VW dealer quoted me 2 hrs and $260 to install them.
I got them on in 2.5 hrs so figured I did not bad.

I took a few pics but cant seem to figure out how to up load them o here.

Ok, so i am a complete newb BUT i bought my first VW Treg. it's an 08' v6 and I LOVE it. I'm looking to do a few simple mods and first on the list are the mud flaps. I've read this whole thread and didnt find a site where you guys bought your stuff. Can anybody help with that? I'm going out to Lake Mead for the 4th of July and would really like to get them bolted on before then.

thanks every1,

BT

Dealer is where everyone generally gets them. If you want the OEM look.

They work great on keeping the mud off the sides. Put on the front and back. The fronts seem to do more because of the turning wheel throwing to the side.

Keep in mind if you want to add steps you will need to cut 1.5 inches off the front of them to enable you to put front flaps on. I did fornt and back on the V6 but only backs on the V8.

Rear mud flaps dont fit

I purchased a heap of stuf for my '10 Lux Limited Touareg before I took delivery and quickly found out that the rear bumper is taller than the regular bumper so, the contour does not match the mud flap. If you look at your rear bumper, you see it sits at the top of your exhaust pipes. The Lux Limited goes down to the bottom of the pipes, thus making the contour not correct. The same is true with the front bumper as well.....
