I sat in a new Touareg at the dealership today and love the steering wheel. I hate the steering wheel in my 2006. My question is, has anyone ever attempted to swap out the steering wheels for either the new Touareg wheel, Cayenne wheel or possibly Audi? I've seen older s4's etc that have swapped in a TT sport steering wheel. I would LOVE to change mine with something 3 spoke.
Updated/sportier steering wheel options??

What about going another route:
- getting a useg Treg wheel
- making it a 3 spokes wheel
- cutting it at the bottom to look sportier
- adding some thumb support
- giving it to an upholstery company for leather cover
I can give it a shot. There are some good deals on old wheels on ebay

not worth the trouble I guess. I found this company which takes your old steering wheel and sends you a re-leathered one for 150$
