Dealer is offering Black TDI with Lux Package, Premium Tech, & towing for $51,000. Wanted to see prices others our seeing. He also has a fully load White 2009 for $48,500, but I want Black.

Unlike LR, VW got it right.
Seems like, if there's one thing on a Treg that WON'T give you hassles, it's the air suspension .

Depending on where you're located, you could try to order one from Chris at VW of Langhorne PA. Many members have worked with him over the years (myself and Yeti included). His deal on the 2010 TDI was +/- invoice. If you act fast, you might still even be able to get one with air.

I think I paid a little more over invoice than some but mine has:
Air Suspension, Lux, Tech Plus, and Hitch plus a couple dealer installed options, mud flaps and floor and side cargo nets.
$53750 with a $250 dealer internet rebate [$54000 otherwise]
I believe this was right at $1000 over invoice after rebate.

I was offered one with the same package, in the off white color here in Upstate, NY for 46-47k....(new)
Wish I could have afforded it, but I bought a new gas V6 instead. I love it & hope to upgrade to the diesel one day!

My closest dealer (@ 2 miles awasy) wouldn't even talk about pricing with me, so I went to another dealer @ 20 minutes away. They "gave" me $500 below invoice to order mine (see specs below). I'm hoping the shop at my local dealer is better to deal with than the sales floor. I'd rather not drive 25 - 30 minutes to take my car in for service.

Paid $44,500, MSRP for my Silver "base" model 2010 TDI. I've purchased five TDIs, various models from the same guy, over the years. At least he gave a decent trade in on our 05 Passat TDI with 185 k on the clock, and an 02 Eurovan premium gasser with 62 k. Also added a tow package at his cost. The T-reg replaces both the cars above, and reduced my fleet from 6 to five.

2000 New Beetle, manual, 343,000 mi., 48 mpg
