...no, not the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies =D

I've had my 2010 Touareg TDI Highline (with Technology package and tow hitch) for a week now. It is awesome. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it so far and hopefully there isn't going to be any. The ride is smooth and although it takes a bit to really punch it, it is still a lot of fun to drive. I don't think I would be towing anything other than the bike rack. Maybe I can tow my friends' cars out of ditch in winter =D I'm glad I waited to get the TDI. It is so much better on the wallet with diesel =) I'm still on the first tank of diesel the dealership put in. It is at 688Km right now and looks to have about 182Km left in the tank. I've just been driving around this past week with my goddaughters to go shopping all over the city. They love the Touareg and I am so glad I bought the Monster Mat before a little drink accident this weekend!

I'm not sure if this feature is new but the power latch is awesome. No more slamming! Although I had accidentally pressed the button on the remote while it was in my pocket and the latch opened automatically... =) Not going to mod it much other than finishing tinting the rear windows and maybe 20" rims next summer, and switch to white LED bulbs (if i ever manage to figure out how to open the plastic thingy... hehe)

Congrats on your new T2. I've had a 2009 (which I believe is very similar to your 2010) for approx 2 months, and I'm still smiling every time I get to drive it. A few mods that I've made since: WeatherTech Cargo liner, Rennline dead pedal, gas and brake pedal caps. double barrels exhaust tips, window tint (Llumar AT35GN). I'd say that the window tint is the one that I like the best. I am contemplating putting nitrogen in the tires instead of air, and eventually replace the 19" rims with 17s.
Good luck with your new Treg.

Nice, congrats! But you're making me feel like a grandmother for babying mine during the initial break-in. :p

Dukeisaac, the double-barrel exhaust tips sounds good =) I'm not sure what kind of tint I got but it was the same ones I used on my ex-Jetta. 35% for front and 5% for the rest. The dealership put nitrogen in the tires and I got full warranty with the tires as well.

I wish air suspension is available here in Canada. There are 2 trims to choose from. Comfortline and Highline. Then the technology package and the Sport package, and the tow hitch. There are so much more stuff for Europe.

schubie, I'm babying mine too!! :D 3 car washes already, thanks to those damn birds LOL When I said punch it, I meant the T took a bit to actually accelerate when I was merging onto highway, it took a second or so for it to speed up. It was kinda scary because the cars were gaining fast. I don't red line it and haven't reached 4500rpm.

See this link and scroll down to the 2nd and 3rd pages for pics of the exhaust tips.

I've been washing mine at least once a week. Thinking of putting mud flaps to help keep it cleaner in the winter.

I hear ya' on the gulls. Similar issue here, though they seem to remain in their own habitat more now that garbage is no longer landfilled.
