Hello, I took over a Cayenne lease for a year and liked it. I found this 2004 Touareg V8 and fell in love. In two weeks I have had 14 flat tires, two missing remote batteries, over 100 running gear workshop lights. I am having a blast fixing it up. Where is the best place for parts?

tpms battries are dead. That is why you get those warnings
running gear could mean a bad car battery.
best place for parts is capitolVW (do search on forum and 1stvwparts.com)
Qpower1(on forum )is a good place for brakes and xenons

as always google is your friend too

we also like you to share good places etc you might find.

I am a car guy and am ashamed to admit I do not know how to get to my battery under the seat?
I just replaced tires and I am guessing that would the time to replace sensors? I am hoping to have time to see if antennae has been updated per VW memo.
I am reading the post "secrets of the Touareg" and am learning so much, THANKS!!

build week/year can be found stamped into the body inside your gas door flap.

Clarkie, Sorry about your Buffalo Bills...My Giants did well and my Pats are scaring me.....uh.. Haynes book? These rigs are pretty complex... My wife is like "are you reading that damn manual again"?... I say "No, compared to women, this thing is a cinch. I am looking at german porn".
I sell cars so I think I know my $hyt, but this vehicle is full of fun surprises. It seems that many people on this site are from cool places and really stress test these vehicles. I have spent a lot of time on Rennlist.com and have learned a ton about the Porches I have owned and expect the same from here.
Cheers!
Steve

Dude, the Bills, dude.

They're AWWWWWFUL! They're just losers, so frustrating.

I'm not much of a gear head, I wish, but I just never got into it when younger. I'm trying now but it can be tough, especially when things read like they're so easy to do then I get my car half disassembled and find out how hard it really is! Anyway, like you said I can't wait to get into this forum. I have a crownline boat and have done a few good things to it via the crownline forum. Look forward to hearing from ya! Side note, the giants aren't toooo bad.

Crownlines are nice. I just put away my Four Winns Horizon 190. It was a crappy boating season this year. I did use my Treg yesterday to bring the boat to storage. It tows well and is easy to manuever versus my suburban. I like the way the dash displays light when connected to trailer and rear parking sensors are deactivated.=very slick!

Talk about a bad boating season! I actually didn't even put mine in the water once! More because my wife is pregnant and we just bought a new house, but honestly if it was in we probably would've only had two or three good weekend for it.
Tomorrow is the day...picking up my touareg at 11:30am. So psyched.
